Restarting... AGAIN!

Quarantine has been taking a toll on many of us. Life as we knew it is no more. When quarantine started I told myself I would NOT let it get the best of me. So I started trying out different ways to stay active and try not to lose all of the progress I've made on myself for the past few years. I started off strong, working out pretty much everyday. Slowly everyday turned to every other day. Then it was a couple times a week. I started to see the number on my scale slowly creep up.
"This is just a little water weight," I'd tell myself. It'll come right back off until I hit the DREADED 200 again!! That is the number I never wanted to see on the scale ever again!
So what have I done you ask?

In the middle of a pandemic, I rejoined a gym.
It's a pretty nice one too. The building is about 8 minutes from my home and it is actually on the way to my son's school. I watched it being built and I was actually pretty excited to join. I really missed lifting weights. I missed looking in the mirror while I worked on myself. Vain much? Yes, yes it is. But that was a part of my journey that I loved. I missed the machines and I reallllly missed lifting weights.
So there you have it. I am starting AGAIN! I'm up a few pounds, but I have full confidence, I will get back to where I was most confident and happy. I loved the way I felt at around 180-185 lbs and 30-32% body fat.
I am actually going to being the 6 week JSculpt fitness challenge that is starting on 8/31. I will be tracking my progress and sharing with you all! I am super excited about it (but dreading the before pics!).
Drop in the comments and let me know how you have kept up with your fitness goals through Ms. Rona season. I'd love to hear different ideas and how I might be able to switch it up to keep motivated!
With love,
